The Best Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers to Own
I’ve been hooked on Golden Goose Deluxe Brand for a while. They were founded in 2000 after the collaboration between Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. Over the years, they have grown into a worldwide designer brand with retail locations worldwide, and it’s one that fashion fans can’t resist.
I’ve known about Golden Goose for years and I would often look through what FarFetch had, as they always had an curated selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always felt the price was too high and seemed too close in style to Converse, so they were always on my mental wishlist. A few years earlier, Adam was the one who was the early fan and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what pushed me to explore them deeper. Seeing his pair up close and noticing that no two pairs are alike because they’re crafted by hand in Italy, I was more intrigued. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are deliberately worn-looking and made to look used and abused, they are all hand done so there’s no two pairs alike. Some have much more abrasions and dirt than others, so there’s a whole spectrum.
If you’re shopping offline, it might be a good idea to look at multiple pairs and select from them, but if you’re ordering online, you have to trust the surprise!The pair of sneakers that I liked from the beginning are the ones above in the main image, as they’ve been on the market forever, but I never ended up purchasing them.
